About the Game…

Mafia 3 was developed by Hangar 13 and published 2K Games.  Its release aired on October 2016, and was available for download and purchase on PC, as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Mafia 3 is based in 1968 New Bordeaux [a fictional New Orleans] and is an open world, story driven game. The game is played from a third-person point of view as Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War Special Forces Veteran, who seeks nothing but revenge for his adopted family, who are murdered by local mobs. Lincoln then searches for allies to accompany him in his fight against the Marcano family [the local mob who had killed his adopted family] – and later on in the game, he then recruits three underbosses: Cassandra, Thomas Burke, and Vito Scaletta. In order to complete objectives, players can choose from a variety of approaches, such as using weapons [ex. revolvers and shotguns] to eliminate enemies. Players can also call in their allies for assistance, who arrive in a van and help fight against enemies.
